Off-Course All-Terrain Golf.
Safety First: Always ensure the playing area is secure. Avoid heavy traffic, fragile property, or large crowds. Play at your own risk.
Equipment & Chaos: Use standard golf clubs or mini-putters, the older and dented the better, they'll get that way quickly regardless. Real golf balls are allowed only in designated putting zones; foam or reduced-flight balls spark creative, wild shots that are still safe. Portable tees (as small turf or carpet squares, tiles, boards or tee) can be moved around, same for targets.
Dynamic Course Setup: Whether on natural terrain or a temporary or portable green, establish clear boundaries and targets and keep moving, through trees or obstacles to encourage innovative, chaotic play.
Teeing Off: Players may adjust their tee positions and targets to create new holes for a continuously evolving shots.
Putting Zones: Real balls ok for putting, use clearly marked targets, even with lightweight foam yell 'Fore' if you shank it. Holes can be anything from dug (4.25inch regulation, or cheap 4" PVC plumbing connector works great), baskets or buckets or movable astroturf greens - we recommend 4x8,4x4 or 2x8 ply>flexseal>astro composite layers, inquire for plans below!
All-Terrain: Foam balls recommended only—promotes creative shots, chipping, even powerdrives if space-permitting.
Standard par is 3 per hole; on a 9 hole course each player can receive three mulligans in friendy rounds, and must take if shot damages public flora. Or play by disc golf or more offical rules whatever you want!
Play games like H, O, R, S, E or be inspired by disc golf, billards, lawn bowling, minigolf rails to reach your Hole.
Respect & Safety: Respect both public and private property. Prioritize the safety of all participants and bystanders.
Always leave the playing area cleaner than you found it.
Never damage, dig, or divot any public park or spaces including lawns, fields, meadows. Don't mangle anyone's landscaping or trample sentitive areas for a shot or lost ball/ego, use a teebox/pad mentioned previously.
Don't dump balls into public waterways.
Rocks are tough, so is Sand, Dirt, and Gravel, all often beating you at golf - yet yearn to be your friend.
🎺Bonus Protip: no one wants to listen to your music in public, it's still golf and your playlist is also truly awful yes.
